Silver-based photocatalyst | Nano Defender Ag⁺ Alpha |
The silver-based photocatalytic nano defender Ag⁺ series is a silver-based photocatalytic coating agent that has obtained evidence of its effectiveness in inactivating the novel coronavirus through experimental verification.
"Nano Defender Ag⁺" is a product that has passed the designated tests by SIAA (the Antibacterial Products Technology Council) and has been certified for its antibacterial properties and safety. Until now, titanium dioxide "photocatalyst coatings" were only effective in the presence of light (ultraviolet). However, Nano Defender Ag⁺, which combines tungsten and silver ions, exhibits deodorizing and antibacterial effects even without light. It has been released as a visible light-responsive type. Of course, when exposed to light, it demonstrates the effects of both photocatalysis and silver ions. We propose its use in general residences, medical facilities, nursing homes, kindergartens, daycare centers, educational institutions, hotels, lodging facilities, amusement facilities, buses, taxis, airplanes, transportation systems, convenience stores, large halls, concert venues, city halls, and more. It has been adopted for photocatalytic applications at the World Heritage Site and National Treasure "Kamo Miko Shrine 'Shimogamo Shrine'." This includes the inside and outside of the fortune-telling cylinder, trays, ballpoint pens, pencils, calculators, the amulet distribution office for matchmaking, the official worship/temple stamp reception office, the assembly hall restrooms, the west parking lot restrooms, and the west rear restrooms, among others, as antibacterial measures for worshippers from the end of 2024 to the beginning of 2025.
